Huskies! Do you like to code, make video games, build robots, or design digital art? Join Ms. Boutell in the Technology Room – Room 1801 – for Coding Club after school on Fridays from 3:00 to 4:45!
Giaudrone MS believes in making a difference in food availability for ourselves, our families, our neighbors and community. The Husky Harvesters club members both grow food on campus and show others how to grow their own food. If you would like to see what this is about please join Mrs. Hill in room 1606 on Thursdays after school. If you join the Husky Harvesters club, we’ll grow together.
Attention Huskies! Husky Center is back this year starting September 20th! There are some interesting new clubs to sign up for after school. Like to dance or create art projects? Salsa Dancing and Museum of Glass Art club will both be happening after school on Mondays and Wednesdays. Or, if you are interested in film and photography, Media Justice Lab is the place for you on Tuesdays and Thursdays! If you want to try these programs, you can register for them with a parent on the Family App under the “Beyond the Bell” section. Make sure you do this ASAP – registration for these clubs ends on Tuesday, September 14th! We hope to see you after school Huskies!
Yo-Yo club is an opportunity to learn the fundamentals of the art of yo-yo from long-time competitive yo-yoer and 2-year regional amateur division yo-yo champion Mr. Schomer. Yo-Yo club meets from 3-4 on Fridays.
Yo-yo club is for people who would like to advance their skills while having fun with a group of like-minded people who are dedicated to the art of yo-yo. We will be focusing on building a strong foundational set of yo-yo moves with an emphasis on precision, stage presence, and being willing to perform in front of others. We will play games, track our progress, and hold small competitions to test our skills against others. Dedicated yo-yo club members will discover that there is an unlimited number of increasingly complicated tricks to learn, offering infinite potential for growth and development in yo-yo.
Students who are interested in yo-yo club should email Mr. Schomer or visit room 1602. Hope to see you there!
