Tacoma Public Schools is hosting the second annual My Now, My Next student success event. The event will celebrate student success, introduce students and families to community resources, and offer individual support to seniors still working to complete their High School and Beyond Plan (HSBP).  

• Thursday, April 30, from 3-6 p.m.
• Mount Tahoma High School
• Grades 8–12 and their families.
• RSVP: Students and families are encouraged to RSVP, this helps organizers prepare for the expected number of attendees.

Student Support Opportunities

• Seniors: 1:1 support for HSBP completion (graduation requirement)
• FAFSA/WASFA and College Bound Scholarship support available
• Verified Acceptance into the Next Institution (VANI) support
• Grades 8–11: High School and Beyond Planning development and postsecondary exploration

Event Features

• Community & District partners (including TCC, CPTC, Bates, Jobs 253, Maritime 253, and Summer Credentialed Programming) providing resources and guidance
• On-site support for college enrollment steps
• Student performances throughout the event
• Food provided by Foss High School catering (3:30-4:30 p.m.)
